Incumbent serves as a front-line person in dealing with park patrons answering questions, phone calls, and collecting fees.
Responsibilities
Collect gate entry fees, sell annual gate entry passes
Serve as weekend receptionist by answering telephone and answering patron questions and directing calls to appropriate staff
Distribute park literature and answer questions regarding shelter, park programs, events, hours, fees, etc.,
Qualifications
Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Must have adequate transportation to commute to work
Ability to establish and maintain effective public relations
Ability to operate a POS system
Education/Experience
Cash register experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate cash registers, credit card machines, and telephone
