Incumbent serves as a support to weekend canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard rental by safely transporting groups to and from launch sites via 15-passenger van and trailer.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and transport groups using 15-passenger vans and trailers, assisting with loading, unloading, launching, and recovery of canoe and kayaks at designated sites
Provide hands on assistance to patrons entering and exiting watercrafts, reinforce rules, and help to ensure a safe, positive experience on the water
Collect fees, operate a cash register, reconcile payments, and complete all required documentation accurately
Clean, sanitize, and store equipment properly while maintaining a clean work area
Qualifications
Must be 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Possess or be able to obtain an Indiana For-Hire Endorsement
Ability to establish and maintain effective public relations
Ability to operate a POS system
Education/Experience
Cash register experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate cash registers, credit card machines, and telephone
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
